Down the path that's twisted vaguely pass the crooked tree
Where the rocks they hug the water it's waiting there for me
The wooden boathouse too's and throws now never fallen town
When the wind she calls it answers she never hangs around
The ash it holds on to the surface and drifts out to the sea
The setting sun is inexpensive but it's never free
The winding road is less inspiring when it's winding back
I write an ode to tinted glasses I want that memory back

Back at home the walls are moulding sky fades green to black
The oceans mirror tames the sky lion
Brings heaven down to land
An honest deceit though it may be it's more than I can stand

Creatures head in to the shade see I bury mine in sand
Distant moonlight prompts our leaving but we overstay our time
